Good Time Sallies is the new podcast from pop culture polymath Ana Matronic available now on all podcast platforms. A passion project years in the making, Good Time Sallies is entirely researched, written, presented and produced by Ana Matronic in partnership with Lucy Winter of Sonicus UK. Focusing on the stories of women and people from marginalized and exploited communities, each episode profiles an impactful person who made the creation or pursuit of a good time their primary focus. It is an expansive, context-rich history of pleasure makers and pleasure takers, while also interrogating the very concept of pleasure and the many ways humans express or repress joy, desire, and gratification. Each episode has a musical companion in Good Time Sallies Radio on Mixcloud, where Matronic presents a playlist of songs tying into the artists, theme, or era covered in each episode. Much like her subjects, Matronic aims to make the experience a good time too - presented with her trademark enthusiasm and alliterative style Good Time Sallies is not dry history in any way, shape, or form.
