"My coming out was the most harrowing experience of my life. It was not my choice" - with Rosé

A Gay Old Time

Tuesday, 25 February 2025 - 1 hour 17 minutes

Nigel's guest today is singer, composer, performer and drag artiste Rosé. Born in Scotland, Rosé moved to America with their family and it is there that they now call home. Rosé came to fame on Season 13 of RuPaul’s Drag Race where they placed top four. They have since earned rave reviews on stage both in and out of drag and launched themselves beautifully into the world of music. Now embracing their moustachioed hairy era and fusing that with their drag artistry, Rosé has released an EP of brilliant bops called Oh Boy and says they are finding their confidence day by day. This series is a celebration of a beautiful queer community; people of all ages, people who have had to tread their own path to live their real truth, who have fought with their emotions and emerged victorious. People who inspire, who aspire and who always entertain. Hosted by Nigel May. Every week, Nigel speaks to a person from the LGBTQIA+ rainbow to hear their story - one person, one life, one conversation. And it always guarantees A Gay Old Time.Follow on Instagram @agayoldtimepodcast  TikTok @agayoldtime Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
