About Gaydio

Our Vision: A Vibrant Future for LGBTQ+ People

Gaydio - The UK's LGBTQ+ Station, is one of the worlds largest media platforms for people who identify as LGBTQ+. We operate the biggest LGBTQ+ radio network, serving more than 25 cities and towns across the UK on DAB Digital Radio as well as FM in Manchester and Brighton. We reach over half a million people per week through our broadcasts and over a million people each month through our social media.

Founded in 2006, we are entirely not-for-profit meaning we don't have big share holders and unlike other LGBTQ+ stations we are not owned by any bigger organisations. Our team is predominalty part of the LGBTQ+ community and agree to our Values, Mission and Vision, which give us a true authentic voice for the LGBTQ+ community.

Beyond broadcasting, Gaydio runs the Gaydio Academy, offering training and skills development for LGBTQ+ individuals, aiming to create positive change through radio and media skills.
