We're celebrating #InternationalWomensDay with esteemed author Juno Dawson.
We ask Juno about the state of trans in the U.K. Are things better or worse for trans people, and how things currently are for trans youth following the landmark High Court ruling against puberty blockers for children.
Her new book 'What’s The T' is an exploration of what it means to be a young transgender and/or non-binary person in the 21st Century, a go-to handbook for the young trans and/or non-binary queer community and their allies.

James and Dan are joined by award-winning activist and writer George M. Johnson - their memoir 'All Boys Aren't Blue', a story of growing up black and queer in America, is People Magazine's Best Book of the Year and a reassuring testimony for young queer men of color.
We talk to George about the micro-aggressions black people face everyday, the fetishisation of black queer people, why 'Blackness is inherently queer' and Dolly Parton.

'I prayed to God to make me a girl'. James and Dan are joined from New York by Abby Stein - the first woman and the first transgender woman to be ordained as a rabbi by an orthodox institution. She talks about her life growing up in a strict community, coming out - first as non-religious and again as transgender - and offers a ray of hope to LGBTQ+ people trapped by orthodox institutions. Abby is the first openly transgender woman raised in a Hasidic community, this is her story.

We're so over transphobia. Today James and Dan welcome Beau Dyess to understand where it comes from. Beau found himself at the heart of the 'Gender Critical' Movement between 2018 and 2020. Today he joins the boys from Seattle to discuss the realities of TERF extremism. Please note that this episode was recorded before Beau shared his gender identity with the world. We're proud of Beau for sharing his story here and can't wait to witness more of their truth going forward.
TERF extremism is a threat to trans and LGBTQ+ people. For more information:
