We’re looking for a passionate, commercially driven leader to step into the role of Commercial Manager at our Manchester HQ. This is a new, senior role helping shape our restructured commercial team. 

At Gaydio, we help brands meaningfully connect with LGBTQ+ audiences across the UK through bold campaigns, inclusive storytelling, and creative media solutions. This is your chance to lead from the front, taking ownership of revenue across key sectors, while guiding and growing a team of up to four brilliant Account Managers.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead by example – drive revenue growth across up to three verticals, combining your own sales with team success.
  • Coach and support – manage a team of up to four Account Managers, helping them hit targets, grow accounts, and develop their careers.
  • Spot the opportunities – build a pipeline of exciting new business, pitch creative campaigns, and close deals that matter.
  • Own the numbers – deliver against monthly and quarterly targets across radio, digital, sponsorship and events.
  • Get stuck in – run client meetings, creative brainstorms and presentations, turning ideas into real impact.
  • Champion collaboration – work closely with our partnerships, marketing and Academy teams to build campaigns with purpose.
  • Fly the flag – represent Gaydio at industry events, Gaydio Networking, and within the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Keep things on track – use Salesforce to track performance, forecast revenue, and keep things ticking over.

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in media sales, with a strong track record in revenue growth (minimum 5 years experience of sales and 2 years of management)
  • A confident leader with experience supporting and developing a sales team
  • Someone who gets LGBTQ+ audiences and is passionate about inclusive marketing
  • A natural communicator – persuasive, collaborative and client-focused
  • Strategic and hands-on – happy to lead from the front and dive into the detail
  • Highly organised and comfortable working at pace
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is a bonus
